Shooting the seabed
Luca Coltri is an Italian videographer who specialises in underwater photography.
Using a Gates underwater housing, Luca shoots with the Panasonic HVX-201, providing a fully submergible rig, with manual focus, manual white balance, iris and many other crucial settings. The lens is a high quality, super wide angle, zoom-through of exceptional quality. The value of the underwater housing, with lens (camera not included) is 15000 Euro.
Underwater lights bolt onto the housing, providing illumination at depths where no sunlight can penetrate.
This is specialised equipment to make underwater filming possible to a very high standard.
Recording onto Panasonic P2 media, using the DVCPro HD codec provides spectacular under water footage from an expert in this field.
