This piece shows the filming of a video project for the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which required many extreme filming setups. The man at the centre of the action is Dougie Lampkin - 12 times World Trials Champion, credited as being Britain's most accomplished sports person. FIlmed on location on the Goodwood estate, this piece features extensive use of multi-camera and some bizarre filming situations such as motorcycling across a stadium roof, over fire trucks, onto and aeroplane wing, and featuring some of the top superstars of the sporting world.
The piece was directed by Producer/Director, Neill Blume. Neill lives approximately 60 miles from London, works throughout the South of England and the rest of the world.
Dougie Lampkin, MBE, is an internationally renowned English motorcycle trials rider. Dougie Lampkin has won five consecutive World Indoor (1997–2001) and seven consecutive World Outdoor Championships (1997–2003). He has also won four World Team Championships (Trial des Nations) in years 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2003, six British Adult Championships, two Spanish Adult Championships and the world famous Scott Trial on three occasions.
