Sony 35mm sensor and 3D camera prototypes, IBC 2010
At IBC 2010 Sony showed prototype cameras, including a full-frame 35mm sensor in a camera scheduled to be released early 2011. This camera will offer interchangeable lenses and will be affordable. Little other information is available at this stage. Regardless, judging by the appearance of the prototype and the footage shown, this promises to be a major player in the world of HD acquisition.
Furthermore, Sony also showed off a prototype 3D camera, promising to deliver high quality 3D in a manageable form factor.
