Tom Robotham talks about his invention, the Blender Light
Every videographer has the problem when shooting on the run of how to deal with changes in colour temperature. When next to a window we have daylight to deal with, inside a mixture of tungsten and florescent, sometimes daylight and tungsten in the same room... DOP Tom Robotham has comes up with a solution to this problem - a high-powered LED light which can mix tungsten and daylight out of a single source.
This light is light-weight, affordable, battery operated, and built inside a metal shell. The light is surprising powerful for its size.

Two dials on the back of the unit allow one to adjust the color temperature of the light output - one can blend tungsten and daylight, adding and subtracting output power and adjusting colour temperature. One can dial in more blue by turning the dial, or dial in tungsten, choosing a mix - or choose daylight or tungsten only.

The Blender light provides a flexible and effective way to control and influence lighting when filming.
