Tim Dashwood - Cinematographer (Part 1)
Timothy Dashwood can be best described as a “Jack of All Trades,” constantly swapping hats as Director, DP, & Editor.
His editing credits include national commercials for Ford, Leon’s, Canadian Tire, Labatt, Macy’s, Max Factor, Dodge, Toyota (Ontario Dealers), Pantene and Microsoft, as well as four independent feature films, the WarChild documentary ROCKED: Sum41 in the Congo, award winning TV Series Urban Nites and two Gemini Winning Seasons for the CBC series UNDERCURRENTS.
Tim is the founder of Dashwood Cinema Solutions, a division of 11 Motion Pictures Limited, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based production company that specializes in previsualization, music videos and film production. Dashwood Cinema Solutions’ mandate is to find solutions to common problems in film production and post-production. The company has produced a suite of plugins for Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro & Motion, making stereoscopic post-production on the Mac easier than ever.
Tim has been shooting stereoscopic photos as a hobby for the last decade and has more recently focused on stereo-cinematography. Tim Dashwood also moderates the stereoscopic production and delivery forum on DV Info Net. Dashwood has photographed five feature length films, countless short films and music videos, the 2010 3D fashion show for Nada Designs and is about to shoot a stereoscopic feature film.
