News Corp has launched what it calls the first national daily news publication built from the ground up for Apple's tablet.

Of course, it is only available for US-based subscribers at the moment, but it is possible an international roll-out could follow if the project is successful.
The Daily is also significant for the future of subscription-based apps on the iPad, with Apple having to introduce new features into iTunes to accommodate the News Corp app.
