Effects Production in Final Cut Pro - Rick Young
Effects production can fall into several categories. There are effects which dazzle the eyes and send stimulating impulses to the brain - and then there is repair work, whereby effects are used to fix problems which could otherwise destroy valuable footage. Rick Young demonstrates effects production in Final Cut Pro, using no third party filters and no other applications. Recorded live at the LAFCPUG Meeting, April 29, 2009.
Various techniques are demonstrated, including masking, Smoothcam, easy colour correction, making use of the audio gain filter and working with basic 3D.
