UK based Digital Heaven are a prolific plug-in/software creator for Apple's Final Cut Pro. With no-less than 14 plug-ins available, Digital Heaven have consistently produced useful and innovative tools for those working with the Final Cut Studio suite of applications.
The company broke ground in November 2004 when Multicam Lite was introduced. This provided the first true Multicam solution for Final Cut Pro, well before Multicam was integrated as part of Final Cut Pro 5. Prior to Multicam Lite, the only way to achieve a Multicam edit in Final Cut was to layer tracks and switch between the layers with the result being dependent on a mixture of skill, intuition and luck. Multicam Lite enabled one to view several cameras running in sync just like in real studio environment.
Digital Heaven, prior to producing software and plug-ins, were a London-based broadcast post production facility. They boldly used Final Cut Pro to edit the UK's number one music program, Top of the Pops for prime-time television from 2003 - 2005, at a time when Avid was the accepted way of editing television content.
Most recently Digital Heaven have released an eBook titled Final Cut Pro, Killer Secrets - written by the force behind Digital Heaven, Martin Baker.
