Richard Marks - Hollywood Feature Film Editor (part 3)

Richard Marks is one of Hollywood's most successful feature film editors. In this interview Richard talks working with Avid, the role of the Mac in Hollywood, and why many of the feature films in Hollywood today are still edited on Macs running OS9.

Editing credits for Richard Marks include: Serpico (1973), The Godfather, Part II (1974), Apocalypse Now (1979), Pennies from Heaven (1981), Terms of Endearment (1983), St. Elmo's Fire (1985), Pretty in Pink (1986), Broadcast News (1987), Dick Tracey (1990), Father of the Bride (1991), One Good Cop (1991), I'll Do Anything (1994), Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995), As Good as It Gets (1997), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), Spanglish (2004), Made of Honor (2008).

Richard has been nominated for many awards including four times for the Academy Award for Film Editing (Oscars), three times for ACE Eddie Awards, three times for the BAFTA Award for Best Editing, and an Emmy.
