You don't have to look far, or wait long, for a new tablet PC to come along. They're the hot product of the season for PC makers and competition is fierce.
Fujitsu's Stylistic 550 tablet is enterprise focused
Japan's Fujitsu is hoping it differentiate a new tablet, and score sales, with a focus on corporate-level features and security.
MARTIN KEIL, FUJITSU: "We are using Windows 7 operating system as well as security features such as a smartcard slot, fingerprint possibility, as well as an integrated TPM module, which can be used to crypt data."
The Stylistic 550 will get its official unveiling at next week's Cebit trade show in Germany. It has a 10-inch screen, front and rear cameras, and uses a version of Intel's Atom processor.
MARTIN KEIL, FUJITSU: "We're using the Oak Trail processor as well as 30-gig or 60-gig SSDs."
Fujitsu says the battery should last around eight hours. Launch dates and pricing for Japan will come this Thursday with details for other markets due next week.
