Hi, I can’t get FCE to digitize with time code, it will digitize fine in all three modes but it displays ‘Not Set’ in the bin, Can you help or point me to somewhere that may be able to. I have manage to digitise with timecode before.

Cheers Steph

Hi Steph, As far as I'm aware you need to digitize/capture from a deck with a control lead as the timecode passes through this. If for instance you were using a Sony DSR 1500 you would be connected to the computer by Firewire and also a control cable with a USB adapter. In capture settings choose this for deck control and You should then be able to log and capture by punching in the timecode in and outs.
