Hi guys,

I'm trying to set up a small film studio at the college where I work and wondered if anybody out there knows of any good deals on secondhand dv cams and 3 point lighting kits !

I'm trying to give my students a real professional feel to their work. We have a dual screen FCP Editing suite with a G4 Mac. But we only have a Cannon 650i DV Camcorder mounted on a Monfrotto Fluid Head Tripod.

Any help much appreciated as I have to beg steal and borrow to get equipment.

Best,

Mike

IBTV,

Ebay is always a good place to find proffesional broadcast bargains. Look under the Consumer Electronics section in the Proffesional/Broadcast sub-catagory. If you buy make sure that any camera or video kit you buy is PAL as there is a lot of NTSC kit on Ebay and this is not always made clear in the item description.

Good Luck,
Dan.
