I am unable to hear sound when i am capturing using my DSR-11 deck to FCP HD, i have soundsticks. Can anybody tell me what i am doing wrong.

It's normal for FCP not to be able to hear while digitising, but you will hear the sound once it is captured.

If you want to, try changing the digitising preset to give you monitoring during digitising through the 'built in audio' option. Otherwise connect extra speakers to the DSR analogue outputs.
