Hi all
I bought FCP3 2 yrs ago and initially dappled with it for a few days.since then it got shelved and forgotten.i recently got it back out and want to start using it again.I have a imac G3 400mhz/13 gig with 384 mb memory.i have an external VST HD 80 gig and recently purchased a ibook G4 800 mhz with 256 mb ram.
my camcorder is an old panasonic analogue svhs and i use a formac digitizer with it.Is my set up good enough or would I need a G4/G5,which is not possible at present,(maybe bit later) to really start enjoying using FCP3.also is it worth upgrading to the latest version of FCP.Any advice on set up,books as a starting point/any suggestions for a first time user will be gratefully received.
