	Can anybody tell me if i have to install DVD Studio Pro 3 on my system drive? Apple recommend 20 gigs free space which i don't have on that drive but i do have on another internal drive. Any ideas?

	beasley, I loaded DVD SP3 onto my G4 laptop yesterday, and it only requires 4.4GB (approx). I have also seen the 20GB requirement listed on Apple's site, and it confused me at first. I think it may be a requirement if you want to transfer all the Tutorial media off the installation DVD onto your hard drive. However, you can run the tutorials perfectly well if you leave the media on the installation disk. Of course, if you want to run the tutorials you'll have to insert the installation disk into your DVD drive every time, but that seems a small price to pay. The tutorials, btw, are surprisingly good, much better than the ones that came with FCP4.

	beasley, It does sound confusing being 20 Gb because I don’t know where they get that figure. 20 Gb is definitely not required for installation. Even dragging the tutorials to your desktop does not require anywhere near that figure, it requires about 400 mg. To install DVD sp3 it states that it requires 4.4 Gb for installation, as the above post states mine reads 3.8 Gb. the other space required is for other files such as compressor etc to make to approx 4.4 Gb.
