I'm recently the proud owner of a Z1 and was hoping for really fantastic quality even though I've got to download from HDV to DV - at least until I can afford to upgrade the edit suite. But even though I've set Compressor to 2 Pass Best Quality, there's a distinct loss of quality from the original to the DVD. I'm using Final Cut Express 2 and DVD Studio Pro 3. in particular any kind of movement (pans are the worst, but also zooms and even scrolling titles) looks flickery and juddery. Quite disappointing ! Can anyone suggest what to do ? Pete |
