I have some NTSC material on DVCam. Can I capture it into a PAL FCP project directly using a Pal DSR45?
Or can Compressor be used? Will it affect quality?
Many many thanks for any help on this.

Anne Marie,
You can set fcp as ntsc dv setting, then use compressor to covert to pal using advanced format conversion, the quality is fair. If quality is important, go to a post production like ours for a mach one or even better an broadcast quality Alchemist to pal dvcam. Hop this helps.
