Adobe Premiere on the Mac - Interview with David Helmly
Adobe Premiere returned to the Mac in spectacular style in 2007. The program which was once the only affordable alternative for independents saw the demise on the Mac platform in 2003. However, when Apple moved to Intel chips Adobe ported what had become a PC only program back to the Mac. In this interview David Helmly, Senior Business Development Manager for video at Adobe explains what happened when Adobe killed Premiere on the Mac and why the application was brought back to the Mac platform as part of the Production Premium suite for video, which also includes After Effects, Soundbooth, Encore, Flash and Photoshop.
