"Grading the Jaguar TV spot with Apple's Color" - FCPUG Supermeet, NAB, April 2008

See just how Apple's Color can be used for high-end color correction work. In this demo Hal Wolverton and Alex Bickel talk about and show just what Color is capable of. The application has been used at the highest of levels and, as seen here, competes favourables with other incredibly expensive tools.

The enthusiam of the people involved with the use of this tool is clear as we see the results, how the results have been achieved, and just what it takes to produce this content.

Verdict

Color is an amazingly capable application which in the right hands can mould clay into gold. However, the "right hands" is the key. There is a steep learning curve with this application and therefore requires time to master the functions. Once you know what you're doing, top-class results are possible. In the words of Hal Wolverton "Apple Color- this tool is really ready!"
